September 9 October 14 November 11 January 13 February 10 March 10 April 14 May 12 September 16 - "Raising Healthy, Happy Preschoolers" Panel Discussion Our panel of experts will include Leneigh White, Strongsville Family Counseling; Sandy Ramicone, Registered Dietician; and Dr. Matthew Tien, MD, Cleveland Clinic of Strongsville. Come ready to ask questions about kids' behavior, nutrition, development and health. October 21 - "Finding Family-Friendly Work" Lori Long Long is author of "The Parent's Guide to Family-Friendly Work" and will discuss tips for balancing work and family life, as well as how stay-at-home moms can keep their skills sharp while home. November 18 - Spa Night and Vendor Fair Get a jump start on your Christmas shopping with a variety of vendors while also enjoying some pampering from a local salon. December 9 - Holiday Social at the Strongsville Library This annual event includes a White Elephant Gift Exchange January 20 - Annual Preschool Open House Meet representatives from more than a dozen area preschools to learn more about their programs. February 17 - "Healthy Moms" Panel Discussion We focus lots of attention on keeping our kids healhty, but what about us? A panel of women's health and fitness experts will tell us how we can stay healthy ourselves. March 17 - "How to Throw the Perfect Kids' Birthday Party" Kyle Rounick Rounick is a professional party planner based here in Strongsville and has agreed to come share her top secrets for the perfect kids' birthday party. April 21 - "School Readiness" Panel Discussion Whether you're preparing to send your child off to preschool or kindergarten, you won't want to miss this meeting. Our panel of experts will include educators at the preschool and kindergarten levels to discuss early literacy, school readiness, and how parents can get their kids school-ready. |
